actually it's considerably less than 50/50 I just learned via tvline that he and Vanna White and Pat Sayjack=15px have renewed their contracts, they'll be sticking around until 2022

Everyone I have some sad news, Trebek just announced that he's fighting Pancreatic cancer....and it's stage 4

Alex Trebek also hosted another popular game show, "To Tell The Truth". And just like Where in The World is Carmen Sandiego?, To Tell The Truth also has a theme song with lyrics.
This version is from when Alex Trebek was the host and the announcer was Burton Richardson.
