ACME WoF - Episode 4

Audience: WHEEL OF FORTUNE!!!

[Cheers and applause]

Alvin: The famous wheel is spinning your way towards thousands of dollars in cash! And now from the ACME Studios, here are the stars of our show, Jonathan Mann!

Jon: [enters HQ] Yeah!

Alvin: And iKing!

iKing: [enters HQ] Hello and welcome!

[Cheers and applause]

Jon: Hi, everybody! Welcome to ACME's Wheel of Fortune! It's America's game you loved...!

iKing: ACME Crime Net styled!

Jon: We've got three contestants who are gonna try to win a whole lot of dollars. Let's go meet them right now. Alvin?

[Now to the contestants]

Alvin: Our first contestant enjoys singing, horses, and hopes to own a stable someday. From Newark, New Jersey, meet Rosie Jimmerson!

Our second contestant is into stock car racing and hopes to become a NASCAR driver. From Staten Island, meet Theodore Framm!

Our third contestant enjoys singing and dancing and loves to read stories. From West Orange, New Jersey, meet Denise Spears!

[Applause]

Jon: Contestants, are you ready to play?

Contestants: Yes!

Jon: Let's take a look at the wheel then.

Jon: There’s hundreds of dollars in cash waiting to be won. You spin the wheel, guess a letter. If that letter’s in the puzzle, the money will be added to your bank. Guess a letter that's not in the puzzle, your turn is over. If you solve the puzzle, the money is banked to your total. But be careful of those two black and white spaces. Lose a Turn – you land on that you loose your turn. And finally the Bankrupt.

[Audience boos]

Jon: Yeah. Land on that, all of the money in the round is gone. If you have no money and if the other player has money, there’s a special wedge called Power.

iKing: POWER!!!

Jon: Guess the correct letter, and you can steal whatever money the player has in the round. And we have Free Spin, if at anytime you lose your turn, you get a free one. We’ll explain more about that later. Whoever has the most cash at the end of the game, will play for a chance to win up to 10x their total. Right now, let’s take a look at our first puzzle of the day. iKing?

iKing: The category is Before & After.

Freddie: A dump!

[_ _ _ _   _ _ _    _ _ _
_ _ _ _   _ _ _ _ _ _]

Jon: There's the puzzle. Rosie, you won the drawing numbers before the show. You spin first.

[Rosie spins]

Rosie: F?

iKing: Oh, mighty sound effects lady, is that letter in the puzzle?

[DING!]

iKing: There's one.

[_ _ _ _   F _ _    _ _ _
_ _ _ _   _ _ _ _ _ _]

Jon: $175. Might as well spin the wheel again cause you don't have enough to buy a vowel.

[Rosie spins again]

[$150]

Rosie: M?

iKing: No.

Jon: Theodore, it's your turn.

[Theodore F. spins]

[$100]

Theodore F.: L.

iKing: We've only got one of them.

[_ _ _ _   F _ _    _ _ _

Jon: $100. Spin again.

[Theodore F. spins again]

Theodore F.: R?

iKing: Way to double up. There's two.

[_ _ _ _   F _ R    _ _ _

[Bankrupt]

[A masked man enters the stage]

Masked man: Get the money! I gotta get the money! Get the money! All the contestant's money! [He dances around Theodore's area as Theodore's score disappears then leaves]

Jon: Was that a robber? He should get arrested. But Theodore, all of your money's gone thanks to the masked man and the Bankrupt. There's plenty of time left to get some of that money back. Denise, it's your turn.

[Denise spins]

[D O W N   F O R    T H E
C O U N T   D R A C U L A]

Jon: $350 for you, Denise. Everybody else, still a couple more puzzles to gain more money. Let's look at the wheel for the next round.

The top dollar value on the wheel is $1,000. And we’ve added another Bankrupt. This time it’s called a Super Bankrupt.

[Audience boos]

Jon: Each spin, you’ll be risking everything you won up to that point, even in the previous round. If you land on that wedge, your money goes to the masked man. Anyway, iKing, next puzzle?

[iKing plays a guitar riff]

iKing: The category is Rock On!, dude!

Alvin: Rock Onnnnnnnn!

Both: YEAH!!!

[Laughter!]

[_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

iKing: Attention shoppers! Vowels are for sale! Consonants are for earning money! And you called a vowel upon landing on a money value! So this means your turn is over.

Jon: No C. But the good news is, you have a Free Spin. So take another turn.

[NIGHT OF THE
LIVING DEAD]

Jon: $8,000 going into your total. Now, you can pick up an extra $500 if you can tell me what category this is.

Rosie: Title!

Jon: You got it!

[Applause]

Jon: That's $500 more for a total of $8,500. Theodore F. has $2,950. Denise no money in your bank thanks to the Super Bankrupt. Cause, in the final round, one of you will be going to the bonus round for a shot at up to 10x their total. Up to $8,500 per consonant is at stake. Here we go. [spins]

[As the wheel gets ready to approach $7500]

Jon: Come on, come on!

[$600]

[Applause]

Jon: Theodore F., $2,950 and our thanks. Denise, no money in your bank but you solved one puzzle. We're gonna give you $500 and our thanks for being here. Well, Rosie, come with me to the bonus round.

[He and Rosie go to the bonus round where Hunter and the Chipmunks await]

Jon: Now, Hunter and the Chipmunks are each holding an envelope. Hunter has two envelopes, Alvin, Simon, and Theodore each have one. Each of these Archana envelopes contains a multiplier.

[Laughter!]

Jon: Five of them have a double, two of them have triple, two have quadruple. Only one has the 10x! Find it and solve the puzzle. You could win $114,400! Choose wisely and good luck.

[Rosie takes Simon's envelope]

Jon: Okay. Let's see how this works out. What the category, iKing?

iKing: The category is Person.

[_ _ _ _]

Jon: R-S-T-L-N-E.

[Nothing happened]

Jon: Well, Rosie. No R-S-T-L-N-E's. You're on your own. Three consonants and a vowel.

Rosie: Y-G-D-I.

[_ I _ _]

Jon: And that's the only letter you're gonna get. You'll never know what's next. You have fifteen seconds to tell me how many persons you can think of. Good luck.

[Rosie thinks about the puzzle]

Rosie: Oh, god! Help me!

[Just as Rosie blurts out a word]

[BUZZER!]

Rosie: Wimp!

Jon: That was it!

[Audience groans]

[WIMP]

Rosie: Damn!

Jon: You solved the puzzle too late. I am sorry. But we have to open the envelope what would have happened. [opens the envelope to reveal the double] The double. But hey, Rosie, you're not the loser today. You're still a winner: $14,400. Thank you for being on our show.

Rosie: Your welcome.

Jon: That was so close. That's it for this edition of ACME Wheel. Join us next time as three more contestants solve puzzles and win lots of cash. From Hunter, the Chipmunks, Freddie, and iKing. This is Jon Mann saying  "Keep on spinnin' and solvin'!
