[The Exceeds and Moroha's group have just finished cleaning up the warehouse]
Tor: This has been one hell of a Thanksgiving feast, hasn't it, girls?
Julie: Mm-hmm. All those acts and that food--
Moroha: Oh, yeah. That turkey and stuffing really can get to you.
Maya: Forget the turkey. Maya had quite a lot of pie.
Shizuno: And that apple pie-- Who made it?
Imari: I did.
Tor: She really knows her stuff when it comes to apple pie.
Shizuno: That's easy for you to say, Tor. You love apples.
Tomoe: Aw, c'mon, Shizuno. Imari's apple pie is the best. She bakes it for pretty much every occasion. Even on uneventful days.
Imari: I also like baking it for my dates with Tor. But you know something? One summer day, in Inwood Hill Park, one of our dates didn't quite go as planned.
[She has a flashback]
[Inwood Hill Park, Monday, June 24th, 12:23pm]
[Tor and Imari have a picnic]
Tor: [sighs] I couldn't have picked a better placer a better date for our picnic.
Imari: And can you imagine how long it's been since it was just the two of us? [holds out a bite of sushi] Say ahh!
Tor: [opens wide] Ahh...
[He eats the sushi]
[Flashback to the warehouse during breakfast; Tor has a conversation with his teammates]
Tor: Sorry, girls, but it's just gonna be me and Imari today.
Miyabi: [slightly flustered] Oh, I don't mind, Tor. Everyone has to have a chance eventually.

Westcott: Listen up. I didn't recall you from your overseas duties just to get your chips ripped off by the Spirit Soldiers or any of those ACME Crime Net superhero teams. All efforts to capture the Spirit Soldiers have failed, and we've gained nothing and lost five generals. All of you will be given an upgrade and will compliment Nervadrone's remaining Demonoids and our Bandersnatch.
[His Demonoids nod, then set off for Nervadrone's lab; ZIEG approaches]
ZIEG: Sir, the twins sent a message last night that the Itsuka family is arriving in Manhattan later today. They overheard Kotori Itsuka saying it's for her grandparents' anniversary and Thanksgiving dinner.
Westcott: As long as the warehouse is heavily guarded, there's no point in abducting them. But we can lure out Spirit Soldier Red. Gold is sure to come for his sister. Nothing like driving their family to despair during their visit. And I happen to know the perfect Demonoid for the job. [snickers]
[132 Madison Street, 12:01pm]
[Tables are set for a Thanksgiving feast; Shido and Kotori put the food on the primary table; the Exceeds enter the warehouse; they hang up their coats]
Shido: Hey, Tor. How was the parade?
Tor: Pretty chilly, but worth watching in person.
Tomoe: Wow! Isn't this place a beauty?!

[Amtrak's Pennsylvanian train is en route to New York City]
[In one of the superliners, two female figures (the taller with long red hair, the shorter with pink twin tails) approach a bedroom suite where a male figure (blue hair, lavender front highlights) is in bed looking out the window (none of the trio’s faces are shown)]
Male: Yeah?
Female A: Our roomette is pretty stuffy.
Female B: Could we sleep with you tonight?
Male: There’s plenty of space.
[The girls climb into bed with him]
Female A: I know why you didn’t hesitate. You miss her, don’t you?
Male: Am I really doing the right thing not to return her calls and texts?
Female B: Her feeling of disappointment now will only serve as joy when we see her in the morning.
Female A: This surprise will be worth it.
Male: Yeah, but still,... I wish I’d been with her from the get-go.
[The girls comfort him by nestling their heads on his shoulders]

[He and the girls lie down and fall asleep]
[Meanwhile, a pair of thieves: Arnold “Riff” Segale (played by Bradley Cooper) and Ronald “Raw” Schneider (played by Seth Green) come out the car behind the superliner completely undetected; they have crowbars on hand]
Riff: Yo, Raw, watch your step!
[Raw opens the door]

A little late to the party, but on December 5th, 2023, television screenwriter and producer Norman Lear, creator of TV shows such as All in the Family, The Jeffersons, and Good Times, passed way at the age of 101.
We shall miss this TV legend.
