The final challenge on "Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego?" that awaits the time pilot who saved history. Also the crook of the day 
& Carmen Sandiego are still out and after gate #2 or gate #3 the time pilot will capture the crook of the day. The questions are dual-choice and the time pilot has to smack the button at each gate to activate the question. If the time pilot answers the question right the gate will automatically open but if the time pilot answers the question wrong the time pilot will have to manually open the gate. The Trail Of Time ends 1 of 2 ways.
1. The time pilot times out and Carmen flees.
2. The time pilot answers all 6 questions correctly and powers up the capture crystal to where the time pilot can take it to the chronolock chamber at the edge of the studio and place the capture crystal into the chronolock chamber at the edge of the studio so the time pilot can capture Carmen Sandiego.
