Christian Carrion posted on Buzzerblog his research on whether or not this lost episode actually exists. He sent e-mails to those who got involved, such as producers, WGBH, WQED, and even Marc Summers. He just finished today, but this may come as quite a shock.

Re: Auld Lang Gone

I guess I can forget about the possibility of pictures from the episode showing up from Sean's stash (he had been sharing never before seen shots of Rockapella's pre-carmen days as well as some from the show itself some of which I shared on ACME Crimenet's facebook page)

Re: Auld Lang Gone

At least my brother attended tapings of the show. He was told to not spoil the outcome until airing.

Re: Auld Lang Gone

I figuredĀ Auld Lang Gone was just a figment of some fan's imagination. The description was rather detailed for a lost episode and the numerous mishaps seemed a bit farfetched.
