Narrator: In New York City's fight against crime, the dedicated detectives who pursue the most vicious criminals are members of an elite unit known as ACME Crime Net.

[Apartment of Xia Yu Fan and Xia Yu Lan, Friday, August 23rd, 6:22am]

[Yu Lan plays Yars' Revenge on the twins' Atari 2600; Yu Fan comes out of her room; both twins are only wearing long t-shirts]

Yu Fan: At just past 6:00 in the morning?

Yu Lan: I didn't feel like going back to sleep after that bad dream.

[She has difficulty controlling her Yar]

Yu Fan: Here. Let me give you a hand.

[She places her hands on her twin's hands holding the joystick controller and helps her carefully control the Yar]

Yu Fan: Precision is the key to beating that Qotile.

[Yu Lan's Yar fires at the Qotile's barrier, leaving an opening; he nibbles on a piece of the barrier, then shifts back, then fires a blast from his Zorlon Cannon at the Qotile]

Yu Fan: That's a good girl.

Yu Lan: [blushes and smiles] Big Sister...

[Her smartphone rings; caller ID: Westcott]

Yu Lan: Damn. Just when it was getting fun. [picks up] Go ahead.

Westcott: Apologies for the early notice. Report to the base at once for instructions.

Yu Lan: Yes, sir. [hangs up] Let's go, Sis.

[She and her sister get dressed, grab their dog tags and weapons, and leave their apartment]

[Flashback to Japan in the past when the Yamai twins were one and young (at 13 years old): Yamai Kazamachi; Yamai plays chess with her mother]

Yamai: Sometimes I wish I had a brother or sister.

Mrs. Kazamachi: If only your twin wasn't stillborn. Regardless, all men are brothers and all women are sisters. Deep down, you have millions of siblings.

[Back to the present at 10:00am at the YMCA with the Yamai twins separate and watching over sparring twin brothers (and wearing karate gis)]

Yuzuru: [narrates] Statement. Mom was right. However, the only siblings we were worried about were Manny and Gil Macintosh.

Kaguya: [narrates] Twin brothers from the Y who'd never win an award for brotherly love.

[The Macintosh twins struggle to spare in martial arts]

Manny: Jeez, man! Watch what you're doing!

Gil: Oh, come on, you dork!

[The Yamai twins turn to them]

Kaguya: Guys! Guys! Guys!

Yuzuru: Advice. Act like martial artists.

Gil and Manny: Sorry, Miss Yamai.

Kaguya: Now what's the problem? One at a time.

Gil: Well, Manny got too slow and elbowed my chest.

Manny: I wouldn't have elbowed Gil if he weren't rushing.

Kotori: [enters] Kaguya, Yuzuru, what's going on?

Yuzuru: Reply. Manny and Gil won't cooperate.

Kaguya: No matter how much we order them!

Kotori: I've already got my hands full with other students. You're the only ones the Y can spare to train these boys for the twin tournament. They have to behave like gentlemen.

Yuzuru: Objection. They're the best junior competitors among twins at the Y.

Kotori: Your pupils, your responsibility.

Kaguya and Yuzuru: Yes, Kotori.

[They turn to the Macintosh twins]

Kaguya: As for you, boys, you've got to get serious.

Manny: I'm trying, but look at lead-head!

Gil: Don't look at me. It's dumb butt!

Yuzuru: Sigh. Just go change.

Manny and Gil: Yes, ma'am.

[They bow, then head for the locker room, still arguing; Shido and Yoshino (camera and Yoshinon on hand) approach the Yamai twins]

Shido: Something wrong, girls?

Kaguya: Kotori just told me that the Macintosh twins won't compete in the twin tourney if they don't shape up and work together.

Yuzuru: Agreement. Our jobs are riding on this.

Yoshino: What about me? My feature article on them is already in the papers.

[She holds up an article of the twins in The NY Times: "KARATE CHAMPION TWIN YOUTHS OF GOTHAM"]

Yoshinon: The article raved about those guys!

Shido: You girls really need to double your efforts.

Kaguya: He's right, Yuzuru. When they get back, we'll give them a few pointers at the warehouse.

Yuzuru: Agreement. Besides, who better to help twins than twins?

[They bump fists]

[Neo-DEM HQ, 10:11am]

[At Westcott's office, Westcott shows the Xia twins his copy of Yoshino's article]

Westcott: This article I received before I contacted you gave me an idea.

Yu Fan: Would that be to send two Demonoids at once?

Yu Lan: Or two Wizards, like us?

Westcott: Wizards. JB, report!

[JB enters with twin Wizards (equipped with CR-Units) (played by the Kitt twins)]

JB: I'm way ahead of you, sir. I present to you the fiercest pair in our new line of Wizards: The DeLeon sisters: Hayden and Hynden.

Yu Fan: Aren't they the bank robbers who just got out of prison last month?

Westcott: They're just what we need. They'll double our chances of defeating the Spirit Soldiers. Have them send a few Bandersnatch units to use those twin brothers as bait.

[132 Madison Street, 10:22am]

[Kaguya and Yuzuru spar (in perfect sync) in front of Manny and Gil]

Kaguya: See? Easy as pie.

Yuzuru: Comment. Nothing to it.

Manny: You two make it look too easy. [turns to his twin] Then again, you don't have to spar with him!

Gil: Oh, shut it, Manny!

Kaguya: Guys, knock it off! No more arguing.

Yuzuru: Request. Shido, can you give them a ride home?

Shido: Sure thing. C'mon, fellas.

[He leads the twins to his rental car outside; they hop in]

[Later, on the road, Shido pulls over in front of the Con Ed plant]

Manny: What're you stopping here for, Shido? The way to our apartment's on the left.

Gil: No, dummy. I say he should take a shortcut. We'll be home sooner that way.

Shido: Guys, chill.

[Gil suddenly notices a Bandersnatch 2.0 unit near the plant]

Gil: Hey! Check that thing out!

Manny: Where?

Gil: In front of the power plant!

[Manny whips out his binoculars and gets a closer look of the Bandersnatch]

Manny: Whoa. A Bandersnatch. We've heard about those creepy robots on the news.

Shido: I knew there was something up at this plant. [gets out of the car] You guys stay here. I'm gonna investigate.

[He shuts the door, leaving a window open a crack]

Gil: Too bad. It'd have been fun to see a Bandersnatch.

Manny: Yeah. I've always wanted to kick one's butt.

[At the plant, Shido slowly approaches the unsuspecting Bandersnatch]

Shido: What could that creep be doing at this power plant?

[The Macintosh twins come up behind him]

Manny: Shido, what do you think that guy's up to?

Shido: [turns around] I thought I told you to wait in the car.

Gil: We got bored.

Manny: What's happening?

Shido: I don't know, but we all have to keep quiet. We can't let him know we're here. Stay here while I look around for more.

[He leaves]

Gil: Coast is clear. Let's get closer.

[They slowly approach the Bandersnatch, hiding near a wall; somehow, Gil twitches]

Gil: Let go of my belt, man.

Manny: I'm not holding your belt.

Gil: Quit pulling it.

Manny: [holds out both of his hands] See?

[The twins turn around and see another Bandersnatch unit behind them]

Gil and Manny: You!

[They kick the unit in the emblem, vaporizing him]

Gil: Wow!

Manny: Cool!

Gil and Manny: Shido!

[Shido, having heard the call, notices more units approaching, along with the one from earlier]

Shido: Guys, run for it!

[He goes into battle with the units; meanwhile, the Macintosh twins make their way to Shido's car, until they get caught in a net; four Bandersnatch units grab the net and take the twins away; the twins struggle; Manny drops a martial arts badge to the ground; after Shido destroys the remaining units, he approaches his car, only to find Manny's badge on the ground in front of him]

Shido: Oh, no. [grabs the badge] Westcott. [to his Spirit Brace] Emergency! Can anyone hear me?

[Cut back to the warehouse; Kaguya responds to her Spirit Brace]

Kaguya: Go ahead, Shido.

Shido: Kaguya, we got trouble, and it's totally my fault.

Yuzuru: Question. What happened?

Shido: We were cornered by Bandersnatch at the Con Ed power plant, and they captured Manny and Gil.

Kaguya: Do you know where they went?

Shido: No, but I doubt they'll go far. I bet they came here to absorb power from this plant.

Yuzuru: Response. [grabs the twins' gis] We'll let Kotori know. Meet us at the Fraxinus.

[Fraxinus EX, 11:13am]

[Shido and the Yamai twins enter the lab; Kotori awaits]

Kotori: Took you guys long enough.

Kaguya: We brought the gis, Kotori.

Kotori: Great. They'll provide the scent for our latest gadget. Karen?

[Karen enters with a new gadget]

Karen: This detector has a keen sense of smell. 10 times that of an average dog.

[She points the detector at the twins' gis]

Karen: Next stop: The power plant. [hands the device to Shido] Good luck.

[Back at the power plant, Shido, Kotori, and the twins get out of Shido's car]

Shido: This is where I lost 'em. Let's go, girls.

[Using the device, he and the girls follow the scent to the same direction the Bandersnatch took the Macintosh twins]

[Elsewhere at the plant, the tied-up twins argue in front of four Bandersnatch]

Manny: Don't pin this on me, geek. We wouldn't have been caught if you hadn't followed me.

Gil: Like you knew where you was goin' in the first place.

[One of the units points his claws at Gil]

Manny: Yo, leave my bro alone, radiator face!

Gil: Duh. He'll never leave me alone, nor you. Thanks to you, we're his prisoners! [to the Bandersnatch] Why don't you just butt out, metalheads?!

Manny: Yeah! If you didn't have that net, Gil would've kicked your aluminum butts to kingdom come!

[Two units blindfold the twins]

Gil: Cut this out! If my hands were free, you wouldn't touch Manny! Don't worry, brah! I'll get you outta this!

Manny: Hang on, brah!

[Two units take Manny one direction; two take Gil another; after they are out of sight, Shido, Kotori, Kaguya, and Yuzuru approach the scene]

Shido: They were here. But now it looks as though they were split up.

Kaguya: You two go left. Yuzuru and I will go right.

Shido: [hands Yuzuru the detector] We'll call the others. Good luck.

[Back at Neo-DEM HQ, the DeLeon twins and the Xia twins approach Westcott]

Westcott: We've got those Spirit Soldiers now. Yu Fan and Yu Lan, deal with Gold and Red. DeLeon twins, it's up to you to do battle with the twins in Orange.

Hynden: I can take care of them myself, sir. Those puny Spirit Soldiers can't muster my almighty blade.

Hayden: My sister's good, Mr. Westcott, but I'm better with the naginata.

Hynden: What does it matter? We can't fail if we work together.

Westcott: See that you don't. I expect you two to work together to defeat the Spirit Soldiers and bring them to me.

[Back at the power plant, in one area, the Yamai twins look around]

Kaguya: Any closer?

Yuzuru: Response. Just inches away. [sniffs] Warning. I sense danger.

[The DeLeon twins charge into the scene, armed with CR-Units and their weapons]

Kaguya: Wizards! Let's go, Yuzuru!

Kaguya and Yuzuru: Sephira, GO!

[They get suited up]

Hynden: Hello, Spirit Soldiers Orange.

Hayden: Prepare to meet your doom!

Hynden and Hayden: Both of you!

[Kaguya fights Hynden; Yuzuru fights Hayden]

[Elsewhere at the plant, Spirit Soldiers Red, White, Gray, Black, Blue, Green, Yellow, Fuchsia, Violet, and Gold look around and find Gil being dragged away by two Bandersnatch]

Yoshino: There's Gil!

Kotori: Hey, bolt-brain!

Tohka: Let the kid go!

Shido: We're the ones you want, not him!

[The Bandersnatch notice, then let Gil go]

Gil: Who said that?

[Kotori fires blast from her Spirit Pistol at the two Bandersnatch in the emblems, vaporizing them]

Kotori: [approaches Gil and removes the blindfold] Don't worry, Gil. I'm a friend.

Gil: Huh? Whoa! A Spirit Soldier!

Kotori: [unties Gil] That's right.

[Suddenly, a fleet of DEM Battleship Gryphons fly into the scene]

Gil: Uh-oh! Enemy jets!

Kotori: That can't be good.

Shido: Don't worry, sis. We'll deal with them. You keep an eye on Gil.

Kotori: We can't risk harming anyone else here, so Karen equipped your Spirit Brace with a new feature: Sephira Vortex. With it, you'll be able to transport yourself, some allies, and enemies to a nearby abandoned area where civilians won't get hurt.

Shido: All right. Let's go, girls!

[The others join him]

Shido: Hang on tight. [pushes a button on his Spirit Brace] Sephira Vortex, engage!

[He, Tohka, Origami, Yoshino, Kurumi, Nia, Mukuro, Miku, and Natsumi get transported, along with the Gryphons, to North Brother Island]

Tohka: Now this is more like it.

[Her Spirit Brace beeps]

Tohka: Go ahead.

Kaguya: I really wish Yuzuru and I could help you, guys, but we've got our hands full.

Tohka: We're cool, Kaguya. Just be careful.

Shido: Sephira Voyagers!

[Nine of the Sephira Voyagers fly into the scene; the Spirit Soldiers jump into the cockpits and do battle with the Gryphons]

[Back at the power plant, Kotori leads Gil to safety]

Kotori: Hang on, kiddo. We'll get you outta here.

Gil: But what about my brother?

Kotori: The others will find him.

[Suddenly, Yu Fan and Yu Lan (in their CR-Units) enter the scene]

Yu Fan: Going somewhere?

Yu Lan: Big mistake.

Kotori: The Xia twins. I should've known.

Gil: You met them before?

Kotori: They're tough. Get behind me.

[She whips out her lance]

Kotori: All right, you two. I've always wanted to see what you were made of.

Yu Fan: Be careful what you wish for, Red.

Yu Lan: You might just get it.

[Kotori fights the twins, who try to fight back with their weapons]

[Back at the Yamai twins' location, the twin Spirit Soldiers continue fighting the twin Wizards]

Kaguya: [fights Hynden] All right. Which one of you bitches is Tweedledum, and which one of you is Tweedledumber?!

Yuzuru: [fights Hayden] Warning. Don't make her ask again.

Hynden: I've got 'em!

Hayden: [pushes her twin aside] No, I've got 'em!

[Both charge at the Spirit Soldier twins, who jump up to dodge]

Kaguya: What's the matter? Too fast for ya?

Hynden: Not fast enough!

Hayden: We're gonna tear you apart!

[The fight continues; the Yamai twins whip out their crossbows and fire upon the Wizards, who narrowly dodge]

Yuzuru: Plan. I'll lure Hayden as far away from here as I can while you distract Hynden.

Kaguya: Divide and conquer. Good thinking, Yuzuru!

[She wrestles with Hynden while Yuzuru runs out]

Hayden: Hey! Come back here, you little milksop!

Hynden: No! It's a trick!

[Kaguya punches her]

Kaguya: Why worry about her when you're the one in trouble, Hynden?

[She and Hynden continue fighting; meanwhile, Yuzuru approaches the nearby East River]

Yuzuru: Sigh. Here goes nothing.

[She dives into the river; Hayden charges in, naginata on hand]

Hayden: Where are you, candy-ass? You can't hide from me! [looks around] Hmm. Suicide. Figures. Back to my twin.

[Suddenly, Yuzuru pops out from the river and fires an arrow from her crossbow at Hayden, hitting her hard]

Yuzuru: Now to find Manny. [starts to leave]

Hayden: Not so fast!

[She tosses her naginata at Yuzuru, knocking her to the ground]

Hayden: [grabs her naginata] Did you really think you were gonna beat me and my twin with that divide-and-conquer ploy?

Yuzuru: Where is one of the twins?

Hayden: I'll take it to my grave with me.

[She is about to stab Yuzuru, when Kaguya bursts in and kicks the naginata out of her hands]

Kaguya: I believe she was asking you a question.

Hayden: You! Where's Hynden?

[Hynden limps into the scene, holding her right arm]

Hynden: The kid's got good wrestling skills, Hayden.

Hayden: [growls] Should've known.

Kaguya: [helps Yuzuru up] You okay?

Yuzuru: Reply. Yes, Kaguya. But she still won't tell me where Manny is.

Manny: [in distance] Over here!

[Manny is tied to a nearby tree; the twin Spirit Soldiers rush to his aid and set him free]

Kaguya: We've got you, Manny. You okay?

Manny: [removes his blindfold] Yeah. Wow! The Spirit Soldier Orange twins!

Kaguya and Yuzuru: Mm-hmm!

Hynden: [growls] You're not gonna get away with this so easily, Spirit Soldiers! Hayden!

[She and Hayden toss their blades at the Spirit Soldier twins; Manny jumps up and kicks the blades in half and to the ground]

Manny: Actually, it's you who's not gonna get away with sending those Bandersnatch to kidnap me and my brother.

[Back at North Brother Island, the Sephira Voyagers continue firing at the Gryphons, until every last one is destroyed]

Shido: That's the last of 'em!

Origami: Let's get back to the power plant and help Kotori!

[The voyagers fly back to Manhattan]

[Back at the power plant, Kotori continues fighting the Xia twins]

Kotori: You fight well, but you just can't beat us.

Yu Fan: We don't wanna kill you, or your fellow Spirit Soldiers.

Yu Lan: We just wanna subdue you and bring you to Mr. Westcott.

Kotori: Well, you should tell him and his Demonoids that it'll never happen. He can send all the Demonoids he wants, but he's only asking for more trouble.

Yu Fan: [points her gun at Kotori] You leave me no choice.

[She is about to fire, when Gil charges in and kicks the gun out of her hands]

Yu Lan: [charges at the boy] You little brat!

[Suddenly, Kotori intercepts with her lance]

Kotori: I wouldn't come near that kid if I were you.

[Her lance glows and ignites]

Kotori: Spirit Lance, Flame Swing!

[She strikes the twins with her lance; Yu Lan groans in pain as she holds her burnt right shoulder]

Yu Fan: Yu Lan! [runs up to her twin] Are you okay?!

Yu Lan: Get us home, Sis! My body can't take this!

Yu Fan: Right. [turns to Kotori] We'll finish this next time, Spirit Soldier Red!

[She and her twin transport out]

Kotori: [in her mind] I never knew how close those two were.

[The other Spirit Soldiers enter the scene]

Shido: What happened here?

Kotori: Yu Fan and Yu Lan attacked. I warded them off.

Miku: How's Gil? Is he okay?

Gil: Don't worry, Spirit Soldiers. I'm fine. Hey, weren't there supposed to be 12 of you?

Nia: The twins. They must still be looking for Manny.

Shido: Come on, guys.

[They all set off]

[Back near the river, the DeLeon twins struggle in their fight against the Yamai twins]

Hynden: We'll get you even without our weapons!

Hayden: Count on that!

[Kaguya nods at Yuzuru, who nods back; Kaguya jumps up behind the twins; Hynden turns around]

Hynden: You finish that one, I'll finish this one!

Hayden: Right!

[They whip out their guns and prepare to pull the triggers]

Kaguya and Yuzuru: [charge up their crossbows] Spirit Crossbows, Sephira Arrows!

[Kaguya fires a glowing arrow at Hayden from behind, just as Yuzuru does the same to Hynden; both twins scream as they get struck by the arrows and electrified]

Hynden and Hayden: [fall to the ground] Damn you, Spirit Soldiers!

[An explosion is shown; after the smoke clears, the DeLeon twins lie unconscious on the ground, their dog tags and units destroyed; their guns lie on the ground, fried]

Kaguya and Yuzuru: Termination complete!

Manny: Yeah! Way to take 'em out, guys!

[He bumps fists with the Yamai twins]

Manny: Gil! Where is he?

Gil: [in distance] Hey, Manny!

[Manny turns around and notices Gil and the other Spirit Soldiers approaching]

Manny: Gil!

[He and Gil embrace wildly]

Manny: You okay, bro?

Gil: Yeah. You?

Manny: Uh-huh.

[Gil notices the incapacitated DeLeon twins]

Gil: What happened to those two?

Manny: Nothing the Spirit Soldier Orange twins couldn't handle.

[NYPD officers enter the scene]

Kaguya: [points at the DeLeon twins] Arrest those two. They sent those Bandersnatch to kidnap the boys.

[The cops take Hynden and Hayden away]

Kaguya: Chalk up another victory for Yamai, Yuzuru.

Yuzuru: Agreement. Demonoids can't beat us, Kaguya.

Kaguya and Yuzuru: Sephira Squadron...!

All 12 Spirit Soldiers: Spirit Soldiers!

Tohka: We'd better get you guys home.

Manny: Yeah. We gotta be prepared for tomorrow's tournament.

Gil: Uh-huh. I'm up for some sparrin'.

[They bump fists]

[Back at Neo-DEM HQ, in JB's office, JB slams her fist on her desk]

JB: So much for teamwork. But one day, we'll crush those Spirit Soldiers, even if I have to get my bare hands dirty!

[Back at the Xia twins' apartment, Yu Fan puts ice on Yu Lan's right shoulder]

Yu Lan: This really hurts.

Yu Fan: You'll be all right.

Yu Lan: I'm sorry, Sis. I just had to jump in. That little boy--

Yu Fan: Forget that. What matters to me more is your safety.

Yu Lan: Those Spirit Soldiers are gonna regret this.

Yu Fan: Actually, it's Westcott's fault. If he hadn't sent us on this mission, this would never have happened. [embraces her twin] He'll pay for this one day. We won't accept anything less.

[YMCA, Saturday, August 24th, 11:38am]

[As part of the tournament, a team of twin youths finish their martial arts performance and bow before the crowd of people, including other competitors, the press, and the judges; the crowd applauds]

[The judges hold up score cards: 8.5, 7.25, 9]

Announcer: The Hilton twins finish with a score of 8.25 and take the lead. Our final competitors are the Macintosh twins: Manny and Gil.

[Applause]

Kaguya: This is it, boys.

Yuzuru: Advice. Give it your all.

[The Macintosh twins nod, then take the stage and bow; they perform their martial arts skills in front of the crowd; Yoshino takes photographs; Kaguya and Yuzuru have their fingers crossed; after the twins have finished, they pose, then bow; the crowd cheers and applauds]

[The judges each hold up perfect 10s]

Announcer: With a perfect score of 10, the Macintosh twins are our winners!

[The crowd cheers wildly; the head judge hands the twins each a trophy]

Judge: Congratulations, boys.

Manny: Thanks a lot.

Gil: We did it, Manny!

[They hi-five and embrace; Kaguya and Yuzuru walk up to them]

Kaguya: Congratulations, you guys!

Yuzuru: Compliment. You were awesome today.

Manny: We couldn't have done it without you, Miss Yamais. Thanks.

Gil: And thanks for putting up with us, too.

Kaguya and Yuzuru: No problem.

Yoshino: [approaches] Guys, I wanna get a picture of the champions and their proud instructors for the paper.

[Both sets of twins gather around for Yoshino's photograph; Yoshino snaps a photo]

Manny: Thanks. See you in Monday's class, senseis.

Kaguya and Yuzuru: You got it!

Gil: Wait'll Mom hears about this!

Manny: I know. She's gonna be off her gourd!

[They leave; Kotori walks up to the Yamai twins]

Kotori: I'm so proud of how well you two did with the Macintosh twins.

Kaguya: Yuzuru and I just showed 'em what they can accomplish if they use teamwork.

Yuzuru: Agreement. They say it takes two to tango.

Kotori: You should do the same with all your young students.

Yoshino: Does that mean we may have to rescue all of them from Westcott and the Demonoids?

Kaguya: As long as it's not before lunch. I'm starved!

Yuzuru: Agreement. I'm famished, too.

Kotori: Let's go. My bro just ordered Chinese.

[Later, back at the warehouse, while Shido's group has Chinese food for lunch, Kaguya and Yuzuru look out the window while eating lo mein]

Kaguya: [in her mind] You were right, Mom. We're all brothers and sisters in this world.

Yuzuru: Continue. And even though it's a full-time duty being sisters to all of nature, it feels great when it looks as if you've succeeded.

Kaguya and Yuzuru: Thank you, Mom.


Natsumi: How come I didn't get any lines in this episode?!

Mukuro: Welcome to the club, Natsumi.

Natsumi: Good thing I've got the starring role in the next one, and you'll soon follow.

Mukuro: Well, don't push your luck.

Natsumi: Next time: Follow the Thieving Gourdroid.

Mukuro: Vigilance, dedication, courage!
