Narrator: In New York City's fight against crime, the dedicated detectives who pursue the most vicious criminals are members of an elite unit known as ACME Crime Net.

[132 Madison Street, Sunday, October 6th, 10:00am]

[A crowd of children and their parents (alongside Shido, Tohka, Kotori, Yoshino, Mukuro, and Natsumi) applaud; appearing before them on a small stage in a puff of smoke are four familiar beautiful women: The Fairies of Elementario (of Amagi Brilliant Park)]

Alvin: [over loudspeaker] Ladies and gentlemen, direct from Amagi Brilliant Park are the lovely, talented, and all-around swell beauties: The Fairies of Elementario! Muse!


Muse: Hi!

Alvin: Sylphy!


Sylphy: Hey!

Alvin: Kobory!


Kobory: Hello.

Alvin: And Salama!


Salama: 'Sup?

[Cheers and applause]

Muse: Thank you, Alvin! Thank you, kids! And welcome to our show!

Sylphy: Hey, Muse, you know what this week's code word is?

Muse: Beats me. What about you two?

Kobory: Is it "sweetheart"?

Sylphy: No.

Salama: Is it "hashtag"?

Sylphy: No!

Muse: Is it... "Spirit Soldiers"?

[A bell rings]

Sylphy: That's it, Muse! You know what that means, don'tcha?

[She dumps a bucket of water on Muse's head; the children laugh]

Muse: Great. Just great. Good thing my element is water.

[Layla walks up to Shido's group]

Tohka: Hey, Layla, I just wanna tell you it's great you're doing this for the kids.

Layla: No problem. Good thing Amagi Brilliant Park was taking a week off for maintenance. My pen pal Isuzu Sento even gave me permission to invite the fairies over to perform for the kids from the elementary school near my apartment.

Yoshino: Those fairies look so stunning.

Yoshinon: And I really like the way Sylphy poses. She's so acrobatic, just like you!

[Layla smiles]

Muse: Hey, kids! There's Layla Hamilton! Let's have a big hand for the young lady who made this all possible today!

[Applause]

Layla: Thanks, Muse. Thank you, kids. Enjoy the show!

Salama: Hey, kids, I was just wondering: Can you name the superhero team with the colored suits and large jets?

Children: The Spirit Soldiers!

[The bell rings again]

Sylphy: [tosses a bucket of confetti at the children] Now you said the code word!

[The children laugh]

[Neo-DEM Industries HQ, 10:10am]

[Westcott and the Demonoids view the show]

LN: If there's one thing that makes my oil boil, it's the dreadful laughter of children.

Westcott: It's said that children shape Earth's future. Why don't we let them shape ours? And I know just who to make them. The Fairies of Elementario. LN, send some Bandersnatch units to plant these around the fairies' necks.

[He hands LN four necklaces with pendants shaped like parasites]

LN: I will, sir. But the Spirit Soldiers are in the vicinity.

Westcott: Nothing worth worrying over. Once the children are under our control, the Spirit Soldiers will soon find themselves under my thumb, too. But be careful with these. They're all the pendants we have left, and we don't have the resources to make more.

[ACME Crime Net Dojo, 10:33am]

[Origami trains Kurumi, Miku, Nia, and the Yamai twins in martial arts:
Footwork
Punching
Kicking
Sparring]

[After a few minutes of training, everyone is worn out]

Origami: You've got the moves, girls. Nice work.

Kurumi: Thanks. But I'm surprised at how patient you were.

Miku: Yeah, you're a pro, and we're just a bunch of rookies.

Origami: Believe it or not, teaching you the routines helps me prepare for battle.

Nia: That's sweet, Origamin, but I don't believe a word of it.

Origami: Really, I'm not kidding around. [hands the others each a bottled water]

Kaguya: Well, it's worth it to have to miss that show Layla arranged.

Yuzuru: Lament. It's a shame we have to miss out on all the fun the others are having.

Origami: Shido, Tohka, and Kotori have trained more than enough. And Yoshino, Natsumi, and Muku's training will come eventually. But you know something? I actually wanted to meet the Fairies of Elementario. I'd been begging Shido to buy me tickets to Amagi Brilliant Park.

Kurumi: What are these fairies like?

Origami: All I remember is that they're really beautiful.

[Back at the warehouse, the fairies continue performing for the children; Sylphy is swinging hula hoops with her legs and right arm while standing on her left arm]

Muse: Think Sylphy can handle one more hoop, kids? Let's see!

[She tosses a hoop to Sylphy, who catches it with her left arm and stands on her head, still maintaining her balance]

Salama: How does she do it?!

[Sylphy flips back onto her feet and poses gracefully]

[The crowd cheers]

Muse: Wait'll you see our next act!

[Suddenly, four Bandersnatch units appear]

Tohka: What the--?

Yoshino: What are they doing here?

[The Bandersnatch perform dance moves]

Kobory: Well, children, it looks as though we have some special guests here today.

[The Bandersnatch do cartwheels]

Kotori: We gotta stop them.

Shido: No! Not until they make the first move.

Natsumi: We can't just sit here!

Shido: We can't risk hurting the kids.

Sylphy: Wow! These crazy clowns are a riot!

Muse: God knows what they're gonna do next!

[The Bandersnatch swing the parasite pendants around and toss them at the fairies, who each catch one around their necks; the children cheer]

Mukuro: What do they want if they're not attacking?

[One unit turns to the crowd]

Bandersnatch: In no time, the Spirit Soldiers will soon bow to our master.

[The bell rings]

Sylphy: That's the code word!

[She dumps a bucket of water on the unit's head, causing it to short-circuit]

[Back at Neo-DEM HQ, Westcott has seen everything]

Westcott: Perfect. Now we can begin phase 2. Summon the Bandersnatch back!

LN: Yes, master.

[Back at the warehouse, the Bandersnatch grab their short-circuited comrade and vanish]

Muse: Weren't they great, kids?!

[The crowd cheers]

Tohka: There's gotta be a reason why those units came here.

Shido: We'd better tell Layla.

[He and the others walk up to Layla, who is on the phone near the front door]

Layla: They've done great so far, Isuzu. But I'm a little curious about those metallic creatures that took us by surprise. They look familiar.

[Shido's group walks up to her]

Shido: Excuse us, Layla.

Layla: I gotta go, Isuzu. Talk to you later. [hangs up] What's the matter?

Shido: You saw the Bandersnatch, didn't you?

Layla: Yes.

Tohka: Huddle.

[While they huddle up, on the stage, the fairies are about to perform another act, when the parasite pendants around their necks activate, magically suiting them up into dark spandex suits matching their respective colors; their wings turn black; their eyes glow red]

Muse: [laughs maniacally] Now for an epic finale!

[The fairies unleash beams from their pendants upon the children, hypnotizing them; the children's eyes glow; Shido's group and Layla turn around and notice]

Tohka: What is wrong with those kids?!

[The children approach the fairies, bow before them, then turn to their parents and charge at them; the parents try to stop them, but to no avail]

Sylphy: I love audience participation!

Layla: Kids, knock it off! What's wrong with you?!

Tohka: Damn, they're going nuts out there!

Kotori: Let me run a scan, but it's possible they've been put under a spell or something.

[She extracts her tablet and runs a scan on the children, then on the fairies]

Kotori: It is a spell. And it's coming from the fairies!

Mukuro: But how? It's not like they have that kind of power.

Kotori: That's because of those parasite pendants around their necks. The Bandersnatch must've placed them while they were here.

Shido: Kotori, contact the others immediately.

Layla: I'll get the other Gladiators.

[Cut back to the dojo; Origami's Spirit Brace beeps]

Origami: [responds] We read you.

Kotori: Warehouse, on the double!

Origami: Roger. Ladies?

[She and the others transport out of the dojo]

[Meanwhile, on the roof of the warehouse, Sora, Mia, Anna, May, Marion, Rosetta, Pamela, Zuzu, and Brittany are training, when Sora's wristband beeps]

Sora: Yes, Layla?

Layla: Come downstairs immediately! The fairies have the kids under a spell!

Sora: Roger! Girls, let's get to work!

[She and the other eight run downstairs and notice the commotion; they join the others just as Origami and the other Spirits transport in]

Miku: What the hell is going on?!

Kurumi: I've never seen anything like it.

Kotori: Westcott's possessing the Fairies of Elementario, and they just cast an evil spell on the kids, turning them into zombies.

Shido: Time for our own showstopper.

Layla's group: Kaleido Power!

Shido's group: Sephira, GO!

[They all get suited up; they turn to face the fairies]

Muse: Oh, look, guys. It's two teams of superheroes trying to steal the show.

Sylphy: Not on our watch.

Shido: The only show stealer around here is Westcott, who's pulling your strings.

Layla: But still, release the children at once!

Kobory: Now's as good a time as any to show you some real tricks.

Tohka: Oh, we're not here for a show. We're here to break a spell!

Salama: You can try. But first, you gotta get through our army!

Muse: Children!

[The hypnotized children slowly approach the gang like zombies as the fairies get behind them]

Miku: How dare they!

Zuzu: Using innocent kids as human shields?!

Brittany: I knew Westcott was sick, but I never expected him to be this sick!

Origami: We have to find the source of the spell without putting the children or the fairies at risk.

Muse: Give up, all of you. With these mindless brats as our army, the Demonoids will rule Earth supreme.

Layla: There's no way we're gonna fight the children, Muse!

Muse: Then let's make it a little more interesting. You can't attack the children, but what will you do when they attack you?! Hmm?

[The children slowly approach the gang, who try desperately to plead with them]

Sylphy: Don't think you'll come up with any clever solutions this time. Get 'em, kids!

[Back at the base, LN revels at the scene]

LN: Now these are my kind of kids. Sir, do you think the fairies are ready for a bigger audience?

Westcott: What do you suggest?

LN: WNYE-TV. We can hijack it's systems and broadcast the fairies' spell to the kids of New York City. In fact, we'll go on foot so they can recruit some children on the way.

Westcott: Brilliance. Sheer brilliance.

[Back at the warehouse, the Gladiators and Spirit Soldiers slowly try to back away from the children]

Muse: Sorry to cut this fight short, but we gotta take this show on the road. Come, my fairies!

[She and her fellow fairies vanish]

Sora: What? Where are they going?

Kotori: We'll have to report to the Fraxinus and find out.

[They all teleport out; the children turn to their parents and mindlessly trudge toward them]

[On the streets of New York, one by one, the fairies cast the same spell on numerous children, causing them to turn against their parents and/or fight each other]

[On board the Fraxinus, the Gladiators and the helmetless Spirit Soldiers have seen it all]

Karen: Gladiators, Spirit Soldiers, we've detected the Fairies of Elementario en route to WNYE.

Layla: That's a local television station.

Mia: Of course! Westcott probably wants to infuse them with a more powerful energy source with which to reach every kid in New York!

Nia: And not to mention the whole world.

Kotori: Bottom line, guys, we gotta terminate this transmission.

Brittany: Then we'll have to use the Kaleido Spinner.

Mia: That's it! I almost forgot, the Kaleido Spinner was designed to spin at very high RPM. It's more than high enough to counter the frequency! Good thinking, Brittany!

Origami: It may be enough to counter one fairy's frequency, but there are four fairies to contend with.

Pamela: If that's the case, we'll have to quadruple the Kaleido Spinner's RPM, somehow.

Brittany: Or just make three more.

Sora: Yeah! Spirit Soldiers, while you deal with the fairies, we gotta talk with Mr. Steele.

Kotori: You got it, Sora.

Shido: We'll hold 'em off as long as we can.

Mana: [approaches] I'm going, too.

Origami: Mana, your powers are too low, and like we keep telling you, you can't maintain a CR-Unit for more than one minute. You're staying here until we need you.

Karen: Origami, if Mana understands the danger, it's her decision, not yours.

Mana: And I say I'm going with you. Plus, I can do just fine without my CR-Unit for a while.

Shido: Okay. You can come along. All right, girls. Back to action!

[WNYE-TV, 10:45am]

[LN and the fairies look up at the station]

Kobory: Incredible. This station is sure to brainwash all of Earth's children.

[The Spirit Soldiers and Mana teleport into the scene]

Shido: I don't think so!

LN: Time for action, fairies!

[She and the fairies charge at the gang; Mana fights LN while the Spirit Soldiers fight the fairies]

LN: Oh, trying to fight without using your powers, eh, traitor? Very resourceful, but also very stupid.

Mana: Oh, this is just a warmup.

[She grabs LN and flips her on her back]

Shido: That's my sis.

[He, Tohka, and Yoshino fight Muse
Origami and the twins fight Sylphy
Kotori, Miku, and Natsumi fight Salama
Mukuro, Nia, and Kurumi fight Kobory]

Origami: I'd actually been wanting to meet you, but not like this!

Sylphy: Well, too bad, so sad, bitch!

Tohka: Don't let Westcott do this to you, Muse!

Yoshino: Fight it! You're not evil!

Muse: [conjures up a blast of water at Shido, Tohka, and Yoshino] Silence!

[The three Spirit Soldiers get soaked]

Shido: Good thing our suits are waterproof!

Salama: But can they take heat?!

[She unleashes a burst of flames upon Kotori, Miku, and Natsumi, hitting them]

Kotori: No sweat.

Kobory: How about a little poison oak?!

[She unleashes oak vines from her hands, grabbing Mukuro, Nia, and Kurumi]

Kurumi: Our suits are poison-proof, too!

[She fires bullets from her musket at Kobory, hitting her and forcing her to let go]

Sylphy: This next maneuver's gonna blow your minds!

[She flaps her wings rapidly, creating a swirling tornado that approaches Origami and the twins, who nearly get blown away]

Origami: Girls, stand your ground!

Kaguya: We'll show Westcott never to screw with us!

Yuzuru: Agreement! To use these innocent fairies as puppets is proof he's a coward!

[Their weapons appear; they fire at the tornado, vaporizing it]

Muse: [kicks Shido, Tohka, and Yoshino back] You waste my time. I've got work to do.

[She heads for the station]

LN: Muse! Wait for me!

Mana: [grips her in a headlock] Don't you move!

LN: Let me go! The broadcast won't work without me!

Yoshino: I'm going in after her!

[She runs after Muse as Muse makes her way to the station]

Tohka: Yoshino! Wait!

LN: Somebody stop her!

[In the building, just before Muse can go any further down the hall, Yoshino tackles her]

Yoshino: Don't ever mess with a Spirit Soldier!

Muse: Get off me, Hermit!

Yoshino: Muse, don't let the Demonoids get to you. You're a good fairy, just like the others. If only we knew what was possessing you.

Muse: You fool.

[She pushes Yoshino off her and gets back on her feet]

Muse: A little girl like you couldn't possibly beat a fairy like me.

Yoshino: Oh, I'll show you who's little!

[She strikes Muse with her axe]

Muse: Little brat!

Yoshino: Muse would never insult youths like that.

Muse: Well, she does now!

[They get into a fight]

Muse: For a kid, you got guts.

Yoshino: Thanks, but I do what I have to do to save the innocent!

[She rams Muse, and they crash through a window and back on the sidewalk]

Tohka: Yoshino!

[Yoshino gets back on her feet]

Yoshino: I'm okay, Tohka, but we can't wait any longer for the Gladiators.

Shido: She's right. [to his brace] Layla, any progress?

Layla: We're already on our way!

[The MechaPhoenix, the MechaSwan, the MechaDove, and the MechaEagle fly into the scene and each release a base-locked Kaleido Spinner; the four spinners land on the ground; Layla, Sora, Brittany, and Pamela fly up to them]

Layla: Mr. Steele didn't take too long to load our new Kaleido Spinners into our flying machines.

Muse: [gets back on her feet] Oh, that won't be enough to stop us! Ladies!


[Her fellow fairies get back on their feet]

Pamela: Here we go, girls!

[She and the other three Gladiators jump into their respective Kaleido Spinners]

Layla, Sora, Brittany, and Pamela: 3, 2, 1, RELEASE!

[The Kaleido Spinners launch toward the fairies]

LN: [all while still fighting Mana] Don't just stand there, fairies! Get outta the way!

Muse: Shields!

[By the power of their pendants, the fairies erect shields around them]

Brittany: Your shields can't stop our Kaleido Spinners!

[She and the other three each push the red button on their respective control panels; the Kaleido Spinners break through the shields and strike the fairies hard, damaging their pendants in the process; the four Gladiators jump out of their spinners]

Sora: And there goes the transmission!

[Back at the warehouse, the hypnotized children snap out of their trances, feeling confused]

Alvin: [sighs] Thank goodness. What a day. Now if only the Spirit Soldiers and Gladiators can save the fairies.

[Back outside the TV station, the fairies get back on their feet]

Muse: You may have broken our transmission, but we can always start a new one after we defeat you!

LN: [whips out her Giga Beam laser and fires it at the fairies] Giga Beam!

[The fairies grow giant-sized]

Sylphy: Now this is more like it!

Yoshino: Giant fairies don't scare us! Send in the Sephira Ultra Robo!

[The Sephira Ultra Robo flies into the scene; the Spirit Soldiers jump into the cockpit]

Mana: I've still got a score to settle with you, LN!

[She and LN continue fighting]

Brittany: Mana, let me help!

[She whips out her YumeBlade and strikes LN with it]

Brittany: We meet again!

LN: Foolish girl!

Brittany: Ellen, if you're still in there, don't let LN do this to you!

LN: That's not my name!

Mana: No, but we know Ellen is deep within you. That's why we can't kill you.

LN: Are you two willing to spare my life just so you can spare the life of a gruesome Wizard who'd been nothing but trouble to Shido Itsuka and his Spirits?

Mana: She only did what she did because of Westcott.

Brittany: She didn't want to do any of that of her own accord. And she's completely forgotten about all that, anyway.

LN: Well, sparing me will cost you dearly!

[She is about to raise her sword, when suddenly, she stops in her tracks; a glowing being tries to burst out of LN's body]

Brittany: Look at that!

Mana: Could that really be...?

LN: No! Get back in! You're essential to my being! [growls] You're gonna pay dearly for this!

[With all her might, she pulls the being back inside her; she pants heavily]

LN: Why am I suddenly getting weaker every time she tries to break free? [to Mana and Brittany] Until we meet again, you fools.

[She vanishes; the other nine Gladiators approach]

Zuzu: What was all that about?

May: And what was that glowing thing oozing out of LN just then?

Mana: It has to be Ellen Mira Mathers trying to break free from LN.

Brittany: We're this close to setting her free.

Layla: Let's worry about that later. We have to save the fairies.

Layla, Sora, Rosetta, Marion, May, and Brittany: Mega Star Borg, deploy now!

Mia, Anna, Zuzu, and Pamela: Ivory Star Borg, deploy now!

[The two Star Borg fly into the scene; the Gladiators fly into the cockpits]

Muse: Oh, you guys just can't take a hint, can you?

Sylphy: Four fairies against three mecha? I like these odds.

Shido: You won't for long. Send in the Sephira Racer!

[The Sephira Racer enters the scene; Shido jumps into the cockpit and puts the key in the ignition]

Shido: Initiate Battle Formation!

[The Sephira Racer converts to Battle Formation and faces the fairies]

Layla: Pamela, you deal with Salama. We'll handle Kobory. Shido, try and keep Muse at bay. The rest of you, Sylphy's all yours.

Yoshino: Okay!

[The mecha fight their assigned opponents]

Kobory: [unleashes vines upon the Mega Star Borg] I suggest you make like trees and leave!

[She ties up the Mega Star Borg]

Sora: Break free, guys!

[The Mega Star Borg struggles to pry itself free]

Kobory: [unleashes a whirlwind of leaves upon the Mega Star Borg] Think again!

[The Mega Star Borg gets struck]

Salama: [unleashes flames upon the Ivory Star Borg] Burn in Hell, Gladiators!

[The Ivory Star Borg shields itself with its wings]

Pamela: Wing Cannon!

[The Ivory Star Borg fires its Wing Cannons at Salama, hitting her]

Sylphy: I'll huff and puff and blow your mecha down!

[She takes a deep breath, then exhales loudly, unleashing a tornado upon the Sephira Ultra Robo]

Muse: [combines the tornado with her water magic] And add a little rust for good measure!

[The Sephira Racer tries to shield itself with its saber]

Yoshino: Activate ice rays!

[The Sephira Ultra Robo fires blue laser rays from its eyes at the tornado, freezing it]

Yoshino: Now let's cook up our own hailstorm! Shido!

Shido: Sephira Racer saber!

[The Sephira Racer smashes the frozen tornado to pieces with its saber; the shards of ice strike all four fairies]

Muse: No fair!

[Cut to the Ivory Star Borg's cockpit; Mia runs a scan on the fairies]

Mia: I think I got something. The computers indicate that Westcott has a direct link to the fairies through those pendants. The damage we dealt to them only broke the spell over the children. But if we destroy the pendants completely, the fairies will be free.

Zuzu: Then that's what we'll do!

[Cut to the Sephira Racer's cockpit]

Shido: You girls got all that?

[Cut to the Sephira Ultra Robo's cockpit]

Tohka: Everything, Shido.

Kotori: Gungnir Cannons, charge!

[Outside, the Sephira Ultra Robo activates its cannons]

Muse: Come on! I dare you, Spirit Brats!

Spirit Soldiers: FIRE!

[The Sephira Ultra Robo fires its cannons at the fairies' pendants, vaporizing them]

Sylphy: What was that for?!

[All four fairies shrink back down to their normal sizes and revert to normal]

Muse: What happened? Everyone okay?

Kobory: Yeah, but how did we get here?

Salama: We were supposed to do a show.

Sylphy: Maybe we were just dreaming.

[The Gladiators and the Spirit Soldiers jump out of their mecha, and along with Mana, approach the fairies]

Sylphy: The Spirit Soldiers!

Muse: And the Kaleido Gladiators!

Shido: It wasn't a dream. You girls were really under an evil spell. That spell caused you hypnotize the kids and use them to fight us.

Muse: But how?

Layla: The Demonoids put pendants around your necks, and the pendants turned you into their puppets.

Tohka: We had to fight you to destroy those pendants and save you. Don't worry. What you did to the kids and to us isn't on you.

Muse: Thanks for saving us, you guys. You're amazing.

Tohka: No problem.

[They shake hands]

[Back at the Demonoids' base, the Demonoids inspect the damaged transmitter]

Westcott: How is it?

JB: The blast from the Sephira Ultra Robo's cannons overloaded the transmitter beyond repair.

Nervadrone: And we don't have the resources to build a new one.

Westcott: LN?

[LN enters]

LN: I'm sorry our plan failed again, sir.

Westcott: You were also defeated by the traitor, who didn't even bother using her powers. Remember?

LN: I only retreated because the Dove of Dreams got in the way.

Westcott: And you didn't think to do something about it? Leave me at once.

[LN nods, then exits]

LN: [in her mind] He mustn't know about Ellen. Westcott has vowed to erase everyone and everything that was once near and dear to him, including his old friends. If he finds out about Ellen, he'll destroy me. Somehow, I have to destroy her before she finds a way out. If only I had the resources.

[132 Madison Street, 12:10pm]

[The fairies perform for the gang (now back to normal) and the children again]

Sora: Sure am glad the show's back to normal.

Kotori: Karen said that all the children under the spell have absolutely no memories of ever being brainwashed now.

Miku: But what about that being that was trying to slime out of LN?

Mana: Like I told the Gladiators, it's probably Ellen Mathers trying to break free.

Shido: Well, who or whatever it was, we gotta set it free. Until then, we can't kill LN.

Tohka: In the meantime, let's just keep watching the show.

[They continue watching the show]

Muse: Now, for our next act, we have a little song for you. Girls?

[All four fairies sing their song: Let's Meet at the Elementario!, in Japanese; the crowd applauds]

[During the bridge of the song, Ai, Mai, and Mii enter]

Ai: The Fairies of Elementario?!

Mai: In person?!

Mii: That's so...!

Ai and Mai: [cover Mii's mouth] Don't say it!

Shido: What kept you girls?

Ai: We've spent all morning trying to find the Spirit Soldiers.

[Tohka and Layla stare at each other, then turn to Ai's group]

Tohka and Layla: Find who, Ai?

Ai, Mai, and Mii: The Spirit Soldiers!

[Sylphy whips out a sprayer and spritzes water at the trio with it]

Sylphy: Well, they said the code word!

[Shido and Layla's groups laugh; Tohka and Layla hi-five; Ai and her group wipe their faces and smile as the fairies finish their song during the end credits]


Shido: Next time: Waning Wizard.
