Press Your Luck - Idea Themed Episodes
Well, Press Your Luck with Elizabeth Banks is being renewed for another season. And what if the show had specialty themed episodes like:
College Tournament - Nine college undergraduates (freshmen or sophomore) face against Professor Whammy for big bucks and college related prizes.
Each episode will consist of two half-hour games (no Bonus Round or Big Bucks Bonanza).
Episode 1:
Semi-Final Games 1 and 2
Episode 2:
Semi-Final Game 3
Finals
In the finals, the winners of the semifinal games will compete for the title of Press Your Luck College Champion and more importantly win a brand-new car.
Have a marching band play the Press Your Luck theme!
Family - Played in the normal format except contestants team up with their children.
Round 1: The kids play the game. All of the questions and prizes are kid-friendly.
Round 2: The grown-ups play the game.
Bonus Round: The players take turns spinning the board.
Home Player Spin - A randomly chosen Facebook, Instagram, Twitter follower gets a chance to win at home with the in-studio contestant. I wish this gets back! This can be available in either Round 1 or 2 or both rounds. The rules of the home player spin are the same as the Tomarken version except the consolation prize is $1,000 upon a whammy-hit.

Tournament of Champions-- Through four episodes at the end of the season, nine champions compete for the title of champion of champions. The first three episodes-- Normal gameplay, bonus round still intact. The fourth episode-- The winners of each of the first three programs compete in a two-match final with no bonus round. The first match has the standard dollar amounts and prizes, but the second match (to make up for no bonus round)-- All cash values are doubled ($20K maximum in the second Big Board round of this match), and prizes are bigger.
The champion with the highest combined total after the second game wins the championship trophy, the title, and $1,000,000. Second and third place keep any and all winnings they finish with.
Second Chance Night-- Three contestants from any version of the show who didn't win a game, or won a game, but had nothing to show for it (as one episode had shown before), compete.
Celebrity Night-- Three celebrities compete for charity (in the main game) and home viewers (in the bonus round).
