Narrator: In New York City's fight against crime, the dedicated detectives who pursue the most vicious criminals are members of an elite unit known as ACME Crime Net.

[At a soundstage, Miku (in a stage outfit) bows before a cheering crowd; she leaves for her dressing room]

Miku: That was some show. [takes a sip of water] Even after losing my Spirit powers, I've still got a strong voice. There's no way Westcott can take that away from me.

[There is a knock at the door]

Miku: Come in.

[Shido enters with a bouquet of lilies of the valley]

Miku: [gasps] Darling! How sweet of you. [takes the bouquet] Thank you so much.

[Shido slams the door shut]

Miku: Wait, why slam the door so hard? Don't know your own strength, huh?

[Shido pulls off his face mask; he is really a completely different man (twice Shido's age) in disguise]

Miku: [shocked gasp] Y-Y-Y-You're my producer!

Producer: And you're the bitch who wasted your affection on a common pig.

Miku: [slaps him] Screw you! You were the one who damaged my career and faith in men in the first place! You belong in jail! How did you get out?!

Producer: Never mind. I've come to take what's rightfully mine.

Miku: Never! Sephira, go!

[She suddenly realizes she is not wearing her Spirit Brace]

Miku: What?! Where's my Spirit Brace?

[LN is right behind her, holding Miku's Spirit Brace]

LN: Looking for this?

Miku: Give that back, LN!

LN: Sic her!

[A pair of Bandersnatch 2.0 units pin Miku to the ground; the producer rips the front of Miku's clothing; Miku whimpers]

Producer: Now, Tsukino Yoimachi, let's pick up where we left off.

Miku: Don't do this! Darling, help me! [strains]

[She lets out an ear-piercing scream]

[Cut back to the Spirit Soldiers' guest room at the Madison Street warehouse late at night; Miku (naked) wakes up in bed; the whole prior sequence is just a dream; she looks around and sighs; she picks up her smartphone and looks up a news article: (headline) "Former Television Producer Killed in Prison"; the article reads: "Hotshot television producer Naoki Mitsugi, 44, was found dead in his prison cell at Tokyo Detention House with a stab wound to the head. His killer was also found with the same fatal wound. Mitsugi was notorious for spreading false rumors of pop star Miku Izayoi, then known as Tsukino Yoimachi, and as a result, was fired and sentenced to 10 years..."; Miku puts down her phone and lies down with a sigh of relief, then starts to cry; Shido wakes up]

Shido: Miku, are you okay?

Miku: Hey, darling. I'm fine. I just had a nightmare.

Shido: Westcott killed me?

Miku: No. Remember when I told you about that hotshot producer who spread phony rumors about me before I became a Spirit?

Shido: Yeah.

Miku: In the dream, he tried to rape me, and the Demonoids were backing him up.

Shido: Aw, man. That's messed up.

Miku: [shows Shido the news article on her phone] Thank God it was just a dream. When I woke up, I saw this article.

Shido: "Former Television Producer Killed in Prison". [sighs] Couldn't happen to a nicer SOB. But why are you still crying?

Miku: I really wanted to forget about that past. Then all of a sudden, it just hit me. But why? I hated men and almost lost my career because of that pervert. He deserved to be forgotten.

[Shido embraces her]

Shido: I'm right here for you, Miku. I may be a man, but I'm not like Mitsugi.

Miku: I know you're not. You're gonna be the father of my children. You're already a good father to Kazumi and Chiyo. Darling, please hold me until morning comes.

Shido: I promise.

[Miku tearfully hugs Shido and falls asleep]

[Neo-DEM HQ, Sunday, August 18th, 4:44am]

[ZIEG is in Westcott's office for a meeting]

ZIEG: According to Dreamborg, sir, Diva's nightmare has been rather unpleasant, reminding her of her traumatic past. But it's time that I reminded her, and the other Spirit Soldiers, that we are their worst nightmare. And Dreamborg is the ticket.

Westcott: That's what I like about you, ZIEG. My very first Demonoid. And except for LN and myself, probably my most powerful. But there's a chance that the Spirit Soldiers might see through this debacle. When necessary, I'll send one of my Wizards into battle.

ZIEG: Thank you, sir, but I assure you, Dreamborg won't fail.

Westcott: See that he doesn't. You may go.

[ZIEG exits]

Westcott: One day, Shido Itsuka, you will learn there's more to ZIEG than meets the eye.

[Central Park, 10:57am]

[At Strawberry Fields, Miku plays Because You Loved Me on her guitar in front of a crowd]

Miku: [sings] You were my strength when I was weak.
You were my voice when I couldn't speak.
You were my eyes when I couldn't see.
You saw the best there was in me.

[The crowd applauds; many a spectator drops tips in the tip jar]

Miku: Thank you, everybody.

[She signs a few spectators' copies of her latest album, then blows a kiss and leaves]

Miku: Nothing like a little outdoor concert to pep me up after that nightmare.

[She approaches Shido and Tohka]

Tohka: You were awesome today, Miku.

Miku: Thanks, Tohka. So, you guys up for Tavern on the Green?

Tohka: Am I ever!

Shido: Ditto. I'll go get Kotori and Mana. We'll meet you there.

[He sets off in one direction; Tohka and Miku head for Tavern on the Green; at the restaurant itself, Tohka and Miku sit in the waiting area]

Tohka: This could be a really long wait.

Miku: [drowsily] Mm-hmm. I'm pretty sleepy. Wake me when they call your name.

[She falls asleep on Tohka's lap]

Tohka: [in her mind] Must've been that dream she had last night.

Hostess: Yatogami, party of five. Your table is ready.

Tohka: Oh! Wake up, Miku. They're ready for us.

[Miku wakes up]

Miku: Already? [wipes her eyes] Sorry. Didn't think the wait would end so quickly.

[She and Tohka follow the hostess to their table]

Tohka: The other three will be here shortly.

Hostess: [hands her five menus] As will your waiter.

[She leaves; as Tohka and Miku observe the menus, lightning flashes from out the windows]

Miku: Lightning? That wasn't in the weather forecast!

[Several customers and employees are hypnotized; they slowly approach Miku]

Miku: What the hell is this?

[Tohka, also hypnotized, trudges toward Miku]

Miku: Tohka, not you, too!

[Bandersnatch units enter the scene]

Miku: How did they get in here?!

[The hypnotized people and Bandersnatch surround Miku on all sides; Miku whimpers]

Miku: Darling, wherever you are, please help me! I don't wanna die like this!

[Tohka pins her to her seat]

Tohka: [in a deep voice] Miku... Miku...

Miku: No! Let me go! HELP!!!

Tohka: [normally] Miku? Miku!

[Cut back to the waiting area; Miku wakes up; what she just experienced was just a dream]

Miku: What is it?

Tohka: We got a table. Come on!

Miku: [gets out of her seat] Oh. What a relief.

[She and Tohka follow the hostess to their table (a booth); the hostess hands them five menus as they take their seats]

Tohka: The other three will be here in a bit.

Hostess: And so will your waiter. Enjoy. [leaves]

Tohka: Miku, are you feeling okay? I heard you moaning in your sleep.

Miku: I'm fine. Just another bad dream.

Tohka: I'm sure lunch will help you get over it.

[Shido, Kotori, and Mana enter and take their seats]

Shido: Hey, ladies.

Miku: Hi, guys.

Kotori: Why do you look so down, Miku?

Mana: This isn't like you.

Miku: I was napping while waiting, then I fell into a scary dream. [looks at the menu] But never mind that now. I'm starving.

[Shido shrugs at his sisters]

[Neo-DEM HQ, 11:34am]

Westcott: Diva's nightmares are only just beginning.

Transmitron: To be honest, boss, that dream almost scared me.

LN: Silence, you fool! That dream isn't even half as frightening as what's next.

Westcott: ZIEG, report!

[He receives a transmission from ZIEG]

ZIEG: I'm here for you, Master Westcott.

Westcott: It looks as though your Dreamborg is doing exactly what you said he would.

ZIEG: His ability to read Diva's deepest fears will surely turn them against her. Dreamborg, report!

[The transmission transfers to Dreamborg in another part of the city]

Dreamborg: Sir, Spirit Soldier Fuchsia will soon be so overcome with fear, she'll be absolutely helpless.

Westcott: Once you've done the same to the others, as well as the rest of ACME, they'll be easy pickings for me to destroy. [snickers]

[132 Madison Street, 2:49pm]

[Miku spars with Tohka]

Tohka: Remember, dreams can't hurt you. If they try to stop you, you gotta stare them right in the eye and conquer them.

Miku: Right!

[Shido watches]

Shido: Hey, you two. How's it going?

Miku: Great. Thanks.

[Suddenly, an army of Bandersnatch units appears before the three; one backs Miku into a corner while the others surround Shido on all sides; Shido and Tohka fight the units; Miku kicks the one backing her into the corner in the emblem, destroying it, but watches in horror as Shido and Tohka struggle against the other units]

Shido: Miku, come on!

Tohka: What's wrong?!

Miku: I can't! I'm sorry!

[One unit knocks Shido to the floor]

Shido: Miku, help!

[Another knocks Tohka out before joining the others in surrounding Shido]

Shido: MIKU!

Miku: [in tears] NO!!!

[In the Spirit Soldiers' guest room, Miku wakes up from yet another nap; the previous sequence was another dream; there is a knock at the door]

Tohka: Miku, are you all right in there?

Miku: [in fear] Tohka, could you come in for a moment? And bring Darling.

Tohka: Shido, I think Miku's completely lost it.

[She and Shido enter the room]

Shido: Miku, what's the matter?

Tohka: Another nightmare?

Shido: You can tell us.

Miku: Guys,... I can't do it. I can't be a pop star anymore. I can't be a Spirit Soldier anymore, either.

Tohka: What?! Miku, that's crazy! You're a part of us.

Miku: I'm sorry, but I'm just not up to it anymore. The dreams-- Westcott-- They're just too much.

[She starts to fall asleep, then suddenly wakes up]

Miku: I mustn't fall asleep. Westcott's in my head. He knows what's up. He's gonna find me. I'm sorry, but you're better off without me.

Shido: I'll bet it's one of his Demonoids. We gotta get her to the Fraxinus.

[Fraxinus EX, 3:00pm]

[In the infirmary, Karen runs a scan on Miku's brainwaves; a nearby monitor shows exactly what is happening in her nightmares; Shido, Tohka, Kotori, and Mana watch]

Shido: Yikes!

Miku: Turn that off! I can't take it!

Westcott: There is no escape, Diva!

LN: You're history!

Miku: I said turn it off!

[The monitor receives a transmission from Dreamborg]

Dreamborg: Ah! The Spirit Soldiers and the traitor. I am Dreamborg, and I've come to show you how helpless you are against Isaac Westcott and his Demonoids.

Kotori: So you're the bastard that did this to Miku!

Dreamborg: At your service. I know Diva's deepest fears, and I know those of Shido Itsuka, as well.

Shido: You know nothing about my fears.

Dreamborg: I know that you're afraid you and your traitorous little sister will never know what happened your real parents.

Shido: What do you know about our parents?!

Dreamborg: It would be wise if you'd come and ask me in person. Meet at Tuckahoe Quarry.

[The transmission ends]

Mana: Big Brother, let me go with you.

Kotori: You need to conserve your powers, Mana. I'll go with him.

Tohka: Me, too.

Shido: No. I'm going after him alone. You girls need to stay here with Miku. Karen, teleport me to Tuckahoe Quarry.

Karen: [sets the coordinates] Roger that, Shido. But be careful.

[Shido is teleported out]

[Tuckahoe Quarry, 3:01pm]

[Shido faces Dreamborg]

Shido: All right, Dreamborg. Start talking.

Dreamborg: I'm surprised you had the gall to show up, Shido.

Shido: Skip it! Tell me what you know!

Dreamborg: Oh, lots. Namely the fact that you coming here was a big mistake.

Shido: That's what Westcott said before I beat him the first time. What do you know about my real parents?

Dreamborg: Your greatest fear is that their whereabouts remain unknown. Well, your fear is absolutely justified. [snickers]

Shido: And what makes you say that?

Dreamborg: This!

[He tosses a harpoon at Shido]

Shido: Sephira, GO!

[He gets suited up and blocks the harpoon with his Spirit Knuckles]

Shido: You think I'm stupid enough to fall for that?

Dreamborg: Oh, cut the bull!

[He grabs his harpoon; Shido whips out his Sephira Spear; both fight with their weapons]

Dreamborg: You can try all you want, but I'm one of the strongest new Demonoids at Westcott's disposal.

Shido: Are you really?

[He kicks Dreamborg back; Dreamborg charges again and punches Shido, who punches back]

[Back at the Fraxinus, the others watch the fight]

Mana: Guys, I can't just stand here. My brother's in danger. I gotta help him, even if I don't use my powers.

Kotori: Well, you're not going anywhere without me.

Tohka: I'll keep an eye on Miku. Don't worry.

[Kotori and Mana get transported out, just before the alarm blares]

MARIA: [enters the room] Red alert, Spirit Soldiers! A Neo-DEM Wizard is on the loose at FDR Drive!

[The monitor opens a channel to FDR Drive where a Neo-DEM Wizard (equipped with a CR-Unit) and an army of Bandersnatch 2.0 units attacking]

Tohka: Oh, great. DEM is back in full swing, so it comes as no surprise that Westcott brings back Wizards.

MARIA: Karen, run a scan on that woman.

[Karen runs a scan on the Wizard; the Wizard's rap sheet is revealed]

Karen: Name: Vanessa Garrett. Age: 25. Five years in Bronzefield for extortion.

MARIA: I've already sent for the others, but you're needed, too, Tohka.

Tohka: But what about Miku?

Karen: I'll take care of her, Tohka. But you've got to hurry.

Miku: Tohka, please don't go.

Tohka: Don't worry. I'll be back soon. You'll be fine, Miku. Sephira, GO!

[She gets suited up and transported to FDR Drive, where Spirit Soldiers White, Gray, Black, Blue, Yellow, Green, and Orange await]

Origami: Took you long enough, Tohka!

Natsumi: Where's Miku?

Tohka: She's not herself at the moment. But right now, we gotta deal with this Wizard and her army before they get to Shido!

Garrett: Mind if I slip into something a little more uncomfortable?

[She gets equipped with extra armor and an arm-mounted blade]

Garrett: There! Now I'm dressed for the occasion!

Kurumi: You're still ugly!

Garrett: Flattery don't charge my battery! Attack!

[She and her army fight the Spirit Soldiers, who fight back with their weapons]

[Back at the quarry, Shido's fight with Dreamborg continues]

Dreamborg: Just give up. You'll never know what became of your parents. And you'll also never save your friend from her fears!

[He casts a spell on Shido; Shido receives a vision of Miku's suffering]

Shido: Stop playing with my head!

[Dreamborg strikes Shido with his harpoon]

[Kotori (as Spirit Soldier Red) and Mana enter the scene]

Kotori and Mana: Big Brother!

Shido: Kotori, Mana, get outta here!

Dreamborg: You heard him! This is between him and me!

[He fires blasts from his hands at Shido's sisters; Kotori repels the blasts with her shield]

Kotori: [fires blasts from her Spirit Pistol] Leave him alone!

[Dreamborg dodges each blast and leaps at the two girls]

Mana: [kicks Dreamborg in the gut] Outta the way!

[Dreamborg hits the ground]

Mana: All right, you scumbag! What do you know about my parents?

Dreamborg: I wouldn't tell you even if you kicked me while I was down, you little renegade.

Kotori: We can't destroy you unless we find out first! What happened to the Takamiyas?!

Dreamborg: Keeping me alive is not the answer.

[He breaks free and raises his harpoon]

Dreamborg: It'll only cause your doom!

[He is about to strike the two girls, but Shido jumps in and takes the hit]

Shido: Keep your damn hands off my sisters!

Dreamborg: Oh, so now you have an even deeper fear: Losing your sisters. [snickers] Luckily for you, I know their deepest fears, too.

Kotori: And what's that?

Dreamborg: That your brother will soon be history!

[Meanwhile, back at Neo-DEM HQ, Westcott confers with JB]

Westcott: JB, I need you to keep those other Spirit Soldiers occupied while Dreamborg takes down Spirit Soldier Gold and his sisters.

JB: Good thing I've got a new fleet of air-assault vehicles. This will be the first test of our new DEM Battleship Gryphons and Battle Tanks.

[Back at FDR Drive, the other Spirit Soldiers have already destroyed the Bandersnatch units, but are struggling against Garrett]

Garrett: Had enough?!

Tohka: Nah, just warming up!

Kurumi: Sephira Buster!

[She, Nia, Natsumi, Mukuro, and the twins combine their weapons and point the Sephira Buster at Garrett; Origami and Yoshino point their main weapons and Spirit Pistols at her; Tohka does the same with her Spirit Pistol]

Garrett: [charges at the Spirit Soldiers w/her blade] DIE!

Spirit Soldiers: FIRE!

[They fire at Garrett, hitting her; her extra armor is destroyed]

Garrett: You're lucky.

Tohka: Not even close. [jumps up and raises her glowing saber] Spirit Saber, Sephira Slash!

[Garrett tries to shield herself with her blade, but Tohka bisects her and slices her blade with her saber; Garrett groans, falls to the ground, and an explosion is shown; after the smoke clears, Garrett, her CR-Unit destroyed, lies on the ground; police arrive and take her away]

Tohka: Come on. Let's go find Shido.

[Suddenly, a fleet of DEM Battleship Gryphons fly into the scene and open fire on the Spirit Soldiers, who dodge the blasts]

Tohka: Aw, great! We can't get a moment's rest!

All nine: Send in the Sephira Voyagers!

[Their Sephira Voyagers fly into the scene; they jump aboard]

Origami: Westcott's going for broke this time!

Tohka: Not if we can help it! All units, open fire!

[All units open fire upon the Gryphons, hitting them]

[Near the quarry, the DEM Battle Tanks charge into the scene, led by JB's Urien tank; they are near Shido, Kotori, and Mana's location]

JB: Sir, I have Gold, Red, and the traitor in range, but I can't open fire until Dreamborg is clear!

Westcott: Forget him! Fire on them now!

[All tanks open fire]

Mana: Guys, look out!

[She, Kotori, and Shido dodge the blasts; Dreamborg follows them]

Dreamborg: Those assault vehicles have got a lot of nerve firing on me!

Kotori: Bro, I'll ward off the tanks! It's time to test out Ratatoskr's new weapon!

Shido: Be careful!

Kotori: Fraxinus, release the Defender Tank!

[The Fraxinus releases a giant red tank (with laser cannons attached to the top) to the ground before the enemy tanks; the enemy tanks stop; Kotori jumps aboard the Defender Tank]

Kotori: Okay. Where to begin? Ah! [pushes the firing button] Fire lasers!

[Outside, the Defender Tank fires lasers at the enemy tanks, hitting and destroying most of them; Urien emerges from the smoke]

JB: Loyal as you are to your brother, Ifrit, you can't save him, even with that giant hunk of tin!

Kotori: That's what they all say.

[Both tanks open fire on each other]

[Back at the Fraxinus, Miku watches the fights on the monitor, still in fear]

Miku: Someone's got to help them.

MARIA: Miku, they really need your help.

Miku: I'm sorry, MARIA, but I'm too scared. Those nightmares are too powerful.

MARIA: Just try.

Miku: [sighs] Sephira... [clenches her fists] Sephira...! [groans; tears up] I just can't do it.

MARIA: You've got to have faith in yourself, Miku. Yourself and the other Spirit Soldiers.

Karen: Miku, this is what you really are.

[The monitor shows footage Miku as a pop star, a Spirit, and a Spirit Soldier]

Karen: Your power, your fearlessness, and your courage-- it's all there. You just have to remember and believe.

MARIA: Miku, you are a Spirit Soldier. You fight for what's right.

Miku: [wipes her tears] You better believe it. Now it's the Demonoids' turn to be afraid. Teleport me to the quarry. My darling needs me. Sephira, GO!

[She gets suited up and transported to the quarry]

Miku: Darling! Mana!

Shido and Mana: Miku!

Dreamborg: [gasps] Fuchsia?! How did you break free from my spell?!

Miku: It's simple. Faith!

Shido: Glad to have you back.

Miku: Mind if I finish this guy off?

Shido: Have at him!

[Miku jumps up and kicks Dreamborg]

Dreamborg: How dare you!

Miku: How dare you toy with my dreams! Spirit Shamisen!

[Her shamisen appears; she plays Monochrome on it while singing said song]

Miku: When skies are turned from monochrome
to an excess of tones,

[As she sings, her shamisen fires powerful sound waves at Dreamborg; Dreamborg holds his head in pain]

Dreamborg: No! Stop that! That voice is too much for my circuitry! ZIEG, help me!

Miku: Nighty-night, Dreamborg! [jumps up] See ya!

[With one last strum on on her shamisen, Miku fires a powerful fuchsia-colored blast at Dreamborg, hitting him hard; Dreamborg screams, falls to the ground, and an explosion is shown; one of his chips flies out of the smoke in pieces]

Shido: That takes care of his first chip.

[After the smoke clears, Dreamborg reassembles]

Dreamborg: That was just the first round. Time to take you all out!

[Suddenly, he notices the battle between the Defender Tank and the enemy tanks]

Dreamborg: But first, I've got those fools to deal with.

[He approaches the fight and shoots fireballs from his hands at the tanks, hitting them]

JB: Dreamborg, how dare you fire upon one of your superiors!

Dreamborg: You oughta have known better than to fire on me earlier.

JB: Westcott was in a rush. Take it up with him!

Dreamborg: All right, then I will.

[Shido, Mana, and Miku approach]

Shido: Not until you tell us what we need to know first! What happened to my real parents?

Dreamborg: It won't matter if I do speak the truth. I'm gonna destroy you later, anyway. You see, your parents, ZIEG--

[Suddenly, he gets stabbed through the chest and groans before he can continue; he turns around and notices ZIEG right behind him; ZIEG pulls his arm-mounted blade off Dreamborg's back, with Dreamborg's second chip impaled on it]

ZIEG: You're already in enough trouble for your failure, Dreamborg. Don't make it worse by betraying us.

Dreamborg: ZIEG, how could you?

[He falls to the ground, and an explosion is shown; his impaled chip gets vaporized]

Miku: Who the hell is that guy?

ZIEG: Just call me ZIEG. I'm one of Westcott's top generals, and the guy who created Dreamborg.

Mana: Oh, so you're the one responsible for filling Miku's head with fear, huh?

ZIEG: And Dreamborg was just the tip of the iceberg. There's more where he came from. Isn't it impressive?

Shido: Everything short of that. It's pathetic! You're just like your boss! A coward!

[ZIEG clenches his fists in fury and fires a blast from his chest at him, hitting him]

ZIEG: You dare address the first Demonoid as a coward?! You should be fearing me!

Shido: [gets back on his feet] If you sent Dreamborg, then you must know more about what happened to my real parents than he knew.

ZIEG: That is a mystery you will have to solve on your own, if you can survive. [snickers and vanishes]

JB: Westcott is so gonna have his head for that.

Kotori: Uh, hello! Forgetting someone?

[JB looks ahead; the Defender Tank is about to open fire]

JB: FIRE!

[Her tank fires missiles at the Defender Tank]

Kotori: Oh, so that's how you want it.

[Her tank dodges the missiles and rams JB's tank]

Kotori: See ya!

[Her tank opens fire on Urien, hitting it hard; Urien tumbles over the side of the cliff]

JB: Unbelievable!

Kotori: You better believe it, bitch.

JB: You haven't heard the last of me, Spirit Soldiers. There's plenty more tanks where this came from.

[She vanishes, taking her tank with her]

Shido: Way to go, Kotori!

Mana: You handled that like a pro!

[Suddenly, the Gryphons fly into the scene]

Shido: What the hell are those things?!

[The White, Gray, Black, Blue, Yellow, Green, and Orange Sephira Voyagers fly after the Gryphons, firing at them from all directions]

Origami: [through Shido's Spirit Brace] Those are DEM Battleship Gryphons!

Tohka: After we took out Westcott's Wizard, they popped up!

[Kotori jumps out of the Defender Tank]

Shido: Looks like you girls could use some backup.

Shido, Kotori, and Miku: Send in the Sephira Voyagers!

[Their Sephira Voyagers fly into the scene; they jump aboard (Shido carries Mana to his own)]

Shido: Let's see what these jets are made of!

All Spirit Soldiers: Lasers, fire!

[The Sephira Voyagers fire upon the Gryphons, destroying them; suddenly, a larger battleship flies into the scene]

Shido: Uh-oh! Big one at 12:00!

[Cut to the larger ship's cockpit with LN]

LN: Feel the wrath of the DEM Super Battleship Garuda!

[Outside, the Garuda fires energy blasts at the Sephira Voyagers, hitting them]

Tohka: We'll make you regret that, LN!

LN: Fire!

[The Garuda fires missiles at the Sephira Voyagers, which fire lasers right back at the missiles, destroying them]

Shido: You may try, but your assault vehicles can't beat us!

LN: Is that so?

[The Garuda is about to fire energy blasts at the voyagers, but the gold voyager fires Photon Missiles at it, cancelling the attack]

LN: Damn you, Spirit Soldiers! Damn you and your lousy Sephira Voyagers!

Shido: Form a line, ladies!

[The Sephira Voyagers form a line and glow]

Shido: Sephira Voyagers, Line Strike!

All Spirit Soldiers: FINAL ATTACK!

[The Sephira Voyagers, at supersonic speed, charge at the Garuda, striking right through it; inside the cockpit, sparks fly; LN growls]

LN: You may have won this time, but I'll get you yet! [vanishes]

[Outside, the Garuda engulfs in an explosion]

Miku: Termination complete! Sephira Squadron...!

All 12: Spirit Soldiers!

[Back at Neo-DEM HQ, Westcott is furious at LN and JB]

Westcott: Well, what have you got to say for yourselves?

LN: If JB hadn't blown it in the first place, this wouldn't have happened!

JB: This is all ZIEG's fault, if his Demonoid hadn't gotten in the way!

Westcott: Oh, forget it! What's the point?! You all failed me!

[Meanwhile, at ZIEG's office, ZIEG clenches his fist]

ZIEG: We must get rid of those Spirit Soldiers before they discover the truth. But Spirit Soldier Gold and that little traitor he calls a sister-- I want the pleasure of killing them myself. No one else must have that honor.

[132 Madison Street, 7:24pm]

[Shido's group (back to normal) has just finished dinner; Miku yawns]

Shido: Hey, you okay, Miku?

Miku: Yeah. I'm just pretty exhausted. That was some battle.

Nia: You were very brave to take out Dreamborg singlehandedly.

Miku: Mm-hmm. Serves him right for giving me those nightmares.

Shido: If only we knew what he knew about my real parents.

Mana: But at least we know ZIEG knows. But how?

Origami: It's possible Westcott knows, too. but we'll have to wait and see.

Tohka: Anyway, the Demonoids' battleships and tanks were pretty brutal.

Mukuro: Thank goodness for the Sephira Voyagers, and the new Defender Tank.

Shido: Where did it come from, anyway?

Kotori: Asgard Electronics. As soon as they heard of DEM's return, they knew what they had to do. Instead of just providing realizers, they also provide new arsenal, with the help of Mom and Dad's Sephira Steel. But there's more to it than what you've already seen.

Miku: Mm-hmm.

[She starts to fall asleep]

Shido: I think she's had enough action for one day.

[He carries Miku out of her seat and into the Spirit Soldiers' guest room; he sets her down on the bed and covers her with a blanket]

Shido: [kisses Miku] Sleep tight, Miku.

[He leaves and gently closes the door]

Miku: [in her sleep; smiles] Thank you, Darling. I love you.

Kaguya: Hey, Yuzuru! We've got the next episode to ourselves!

Yuzuru: Question. Why must we take on a pair of Wizards, Kaguya?

Kaguya: You got me.

Yuzuru: Announcement. Next time: Twin Trouble.
