Why were Chase scenes reduced?
In Season 2 of Carmen Sandiego, one episode featured Chase scene that involved Greg and Sean.
What's What with Watts? (Taped May 13, 1992): Sean threw a snowball at Greg and chased him around the map and HQ.
Before Season 3 began taping, the producers made a big decision to stop using Chase scenes involving Greg and Rockapella. "No more snowballs! No more stripping jackets! No more chasing around the studio! No more chaos!" It slows down the taping. We want Chase scenes to be very simple.
The rest is history!
