ACME Wheel - Episode 33

Rated TV-PG (CC)

All: WHEEL...OF...FORTUNE!

[Applause]

Kio: The famous wheel is spinning your way towards thousands of dollars in cash! And now from the ACME Studios in New York, here are the stars of our show, Chucklewood's wackiest raccoon, Freddie!

Kio: And Jonathan Mann!

[Applause]

Jon: Thank you, folks! Hi, everyone. Welcome to the show.

Freddie: Three quarters of the last year of the 2010s completed, only one more to go. And then it will be 2020.

Jon: You got it, Freddie. I can see the leaves changing. Baseball season is nearing it's end. We're in football now.

Freddie: Yepper. On our last show, we crowned a winner but unfortunaly time ran out as we go into the Bonus Round. We're going to meet that player right now. Kio?

Kio: We can do it now. He like classic rock and enjoys ice hockey. From Clifton, New Jersey, meet Justin DeFon whose cash winnings total $2,600!

[Applause]

Jon: Hi, Justin. Glad to have your back.

Justin: Thank you.

Jon: I hope you had a good day's rest to get ready for the Bonus Round. Let's get to that right now. On this tray of envelopes that Freddie is holding has six envelopes. Three of the them will double your winnings, two of them will triple, but only one of them quadruples your total. So pick an envelope, solve the puzzle and see what happens.

[Justin takes an envelope off the tray]

Jon: Very well. Let's work on this puzzle. Freddie?

Freddie: The category is Place.

Jon: That is all you're gonna get. We're gonna give you ten seconds to figure out this puzzle.

[The timer is set at ten seconds]

Jon: Studio audience, zip your lips and be quiet. Super quiet. He has to do this by yourself. You got ten seconds. Good luck.

[Justin stutters a bit]

Justin: Oh no!

[BUZZER!] (time's up!)

Jon: If you had the right letters, it could've help you solve. What was the puzzle?

[PUMPKIN
PATCH]

Jon: Pumpkin Patch is what we're looking for. I'm so sorry. Now, I'm gonna open this envelope and see what would have happened. [opens the envelope] And you could have doubled your money. But $2,600 is not bad for a day's work. Isn't it?

Justin: Yes.

Jon: Thank you playing ACME Wheel.

Justin: You're welcome.

Jon: I can see it's time to start a new game. So, Kio, ready to meet two new contestants?

Kio: Yes, sir!

Jon: Who are they?
